Cellulite is a visible contour abnormality of the skin (orange peel skin, dimpled skin) resulting from local metabolic disorders of the subcutaneous tissue predominantly in the gluteo-femoral area of the female body. Cellulite isn’t a disorder of the epidermis (the visible part of the skin), but a problem that occurs in the deeper part of your skin where subcutaneous soft tissue such as collagen, fat cells, fasciae, arteries and lymph channels are situated.

Cellulite is an alteration of the skin that affects >85% of postpuberal women around the globe. The good news is, you can do something about it without having to dive deep in your pockets for regular cosmetic treatment or surgery. What is proven to help actually doesn’t cost a thing: make specific changes to your diet and perform a specific exercise routine, and you will go a long way in getting rid of cellulite. The earlier you adopt these measures the more effective you can control cellulite. All it takes for now is some discipline and consistency over the course of 8-12 weeks, depending on the severity of the condition. Smoking, weight gain and inactivity are elements best-known to aggravate cellulite. 

The pathophysiology of cellulite is not completely understood, but there are 3 main theories:

Program Duration 

The program consists of a three-step-method combining physical exercise, diet therapy and complementary therapies. It goes without saying that you should apply all three steps simultaneously during a set period of time to get the best possible results.   

  • Type I Cellulite: program duration 55 days (or 8 weeks) 
  • Type II Cellulite: program duration 70 days (or 10 weeks) 
  • Type III Cellulite: program duration 90 days (or 12 weeks)
